Are signposted towards other information and support, for example, health, employment, and education

All food provided as part of the programme must:
Comply with regulations on food preparation
Take into account allergies and dietary requirements
Take into account any religious or cultural requirements for food

Now in 2026, it's our 4th year to partner with some very special HAF providers here in Banes. We are able to offer timed deliveries of individually prepared hot meals, complete with disposable wooden cutlery if you so desire - no need to cut or portion, it's already done for you.

We specifically target 5-14 year olds and our portion sizes reflect that; all LittleScoffs are around 300g, depending upon the meal, and contain no more than 30% pasta or rice, ensuring a balanced, nutritious and very tasty meal!

The weekly menu ensures a balance of pasta and rice and includes additional cheese for the essential 'food play', which can help alleviate 'fussy eater' issues.

Each individually created HAF meal comes with a tasty snack and fresh fruit, offering balance, compliance and full enjoyment!

Frequently voted the Tastiest Supplier, we would be more than happy to discuss your particular HAF requirements in Banes for Summer, Winter or Easter.

FAQ’s

Can we amend an order?
Yes, by email up to 24 hours; if you need more meals, we can help.
How do we deliver it?
Your food arrives hot in a thermos box during your lunch time so it is for immediate consumption - and we will phone you on the way so you know exactly when it's coming. Each meal is individual, so need to worry about servings, spoons or dirty dishes – we will even supply wooden cutlery too if requested.
How big are the meals?
Each meal is a perfect size for up to around 15 years old. Individual meals weigh between 280g and 400g, and we have never had any complaints about the size!
What about allergens?
All meals are either vegetarian, vegan and/or gluten free and have minimal allergen content. Full ingredients and allergens are easily available upon request.
Halal? Kosher?
We use high quality meat substitutes, which avoids any potential animal pain. This also ensure those with a cultural or religious dietary need can eat the same meal, in confidence, as their friends.
What about environmental impacts?
We are based in Bath and only deliver to within 25mins of our kitchen. We source as much of our fruit and veg from our local suppliers in Bath. Our food containers are fully recyclable and the wooden cutlery is compostable, so yes, we do care about the environment and encourage everyone to do what they can – including us!
Are you approved?
Our kitchen has only ever received 5star ratings from Banes, and we have been here for 17 years. We were one of the first 10 companies in Bath to be awarded Plastic Free Champions for our work on sustainability. We have worked closely with HAF providers for the past four years and have been recently voted ‘best breakfast in Bath’.
What about the taste?
We follow all guidelines and recommendations for School Compliance, Eat Better Start Better etc and do not use any additives or additional salt or sugar – yet LittleScoffs continually beats our competitors when it comes to taste! Why not get in touch and try a sample?
How are they made?
We deliberately make only small batches to ensure the quality stays high. We use cookpots and then serve into individual containers – there are some production images in our gallery. Rather than traybake, we prefer to make sure each meal is as perfect as it can be, giving you much less hassle when it comes to serving!
